REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDATES: Professional education as defined in the Cabinet of Ministers regulations is required. Knowledge of legal acts regulating the field of education. Knowledge of teaching and educational work content and didactics of the subject. Understanding of the developmental characteristics of learners by age group and the laws of communication psychology. Ability to make independent decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team. High sense of responsibility. Ability to work with office equipment and IT tools. WORK LOCATION: Preschool Educational Institution "2nd Preschool", Salaspils, Rubeņu Street 2A, Salaspils. MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Enhance the learner's speech and written language development skills for the full acquisition of competencies (requirements) set out in the state education standard in the language field. Conduct frontline diagnostics of learners' speech, written language and reading skills. Assess learners' speech and language development disorders, determine goals, select appropriate methodologies, and draw up an action plan. Organize the composition of speech-language pathology groups according to the learner's age, language disorders and level of mental development. When necessary, conduct individual work with learners who have speech or written language disorders. Regularly keep records in the speech-language pathologist's logbook and in the school management system e-klase in accordance with the Institution's established requirements. Provide consultations to parents and educators in cases of speech or written language disorders, and develop recommendations for providing support to learners. Conducts research of learners' developmental dynamics and self-analysis of their work; Use information and communication technologies (ICT) in activities; Participate in in-depth examination of learners, if necessary involving other specialists in the work; Participate in meetings of the educational institution's pedagogical council, Support staff meetings, and as needed in methodology associations and parent meetings; Participate in the development of Individual plans for learners and provision of support; DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED BY CANDIDATE: Motivation letter.
