JOB DUTIES Korrespondensgymnasiet is a secondary school that offers distance education for complete programs in the Economics, Humanities, Social Sciences and Natural Sciences programs. Our school is aimed at students with documented medical, psychological or social difficulties or other special circumstances. The school has approximately 550 students living in different parts of Sweden and the world. To meet our students' needs, we work with teaching groups where our approach is individualized and flexible, which places demands on high and broad competence from everyone working with us. As a school counselor, you are part of a team consisting of special educators, school nurse, school physician, school psychologist, school counselors, teachers with special education assignments and vocational guidance counselors. We offer flexible work arrangements based at Korrespondensgymnasiet in Söderåkra. QUALIFICATIONS Degree in Social Work. Experience from previous work as a school counselor is a merit. You have a great ability to create good and trusting relationships with students and staff as well as the ability to create conditions for students to interact with each other. Experience in conducting school social assessments and good digital skills are desirable.
