We are seeking a skilled and experienced sushi chef to join our team at our exciting new restaurant. The ideal candidate is passionate about authentic Japanese cuisine, possesses excellent knife technique, and has the ability to consistently prepare high-quality sushi while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and presentation. Key Responsibilities · Prepare a wide variety of sushi, sashimi, nigiri, maki rolls, and other Japanese dishes. · Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to the highest quality standards. · Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in compliance with applicable food safety regulations. · Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering raw materials and supplies. · Work closely with the head chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations. · Contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal specialty dishes. Requirements · Documented experience as a sushi chef in a professional restaurant environment. · Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques, knife handling, and Japanese cuisine. · Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. · High attention to detail and focus on quality. · Positive attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork skills.
