Female Actress Needed for Teater Scarlet in Central Gothenburg

We are now seeking you to work as an actress at Teater Scarlet in central Gothenburg. The production is called Hattar, Mössor och Mord and is a murder mystery set in the late 1700s, primarily during the Gustavian period. It is a story in 4 acts that offers plenty of humor but also seriousness, depth, and of course—murder! We are seeking a female actress with a playing age of 20-50. The role that needs to be filled requires comic timing and the ability to perform with full commitment. The character Lovisa is an alcoholic queen who is very crude in her language and says what she thinks and feels in a very inappropriate manner. A fantastic fun role to perform alongside a very talented group. The job also involves being a swing, which means you step in for one of the other female actresses in case of serious illness. When you are not needed on stage, you also help manage sound and lighting. During intermissions, you work in the bar. Working hours are 16:45 - 00:15 every other Friday and Saturday every other week (odd weeks), and the pay is 150 kr per hour during the performance period. Performance period: Second weekend in October through April 17th. It is also a requirement that you can attend rehearsals September 24-27. 24th and 25th September between 17:00 and 22:30, and 26th and 27th September from 12:00 - 23:30.
