With us, you have the opportunity to investigate everything from tropical diseases to sepsis and wound care. Patients are of all ages with varying underlying conditions. What they all have in common is that they have or are suspected of having an infection requiring acute medical care. We often perform advanced acute care, which means you will develop very broad professional knowledge and you have the opportunity to use your entire range of competencies. Here you get a broad and solid foundation as a nurse, whether you are newly qualified or already have professional experience. We encourage competency development through continuous improvement work and your own responsibility to influence how the department operates. With us, we use a wish-based schedule that is then coordinated based on the department's needs. 4 position(s). JOB DUTIES On the department, we work in teams with nurses, nursing assistants and doctors in patient care. We have a nursing group with high ambitions, a nursing assistant group with high competence, and a stable and good medical team with a wonderful team atmosphere. The Infectious Disease Department has 17 patient beds, of which 15 single rooms with airlocks and isolation options. Ten rooms also have access from the external corridor, if needed. The position involves shift work – days, evenings and nights. A 10-week wish-based schedule is created before each new scheduling period. Your introduction at the workplace will be adapted to your experience, but typically at least 4 weeks of training is provided with a designated mentor. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a Licensed Nurse. You have a positive attitude and enjoy working in a team but also taking your own responsibility and initiative when needed. You have an interest in infectious diseases, and it is an asset if you have experience working in a hospital department. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
