Ambulance Operations is responsible for ambulance services in northwestern and southwestern Skåne and includes approximately 440 employees distributed across eleven ambulance stations. We work based on common treatment guidelines, conduct continuous professional development, and maintain close collaboration across the entire operation to ensure high quality and equitable care. WORK TASKS As a nurse or paramedic nurse in ambulance services, you work with prehospital emergency care and are responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients in various environments: • in patients' homes • at accident scenes • during transport to healthcare facilities. You always work together with a colleague and are part of a professional team consisting of paramedics, nurses, and specialist-trained nurses. The work requires high medical competence, flexibility, and collaboration skills. The workday can change rapidly. One moment you may be managing a critical condition under time pressure, the next moment you are creating security and trust for a patient who needs support, calm, and care. Our operations run 24/7, year-round. We want to give you the best possible conditions to succeed in your new role. That's why we offer an individually tailored introduction lasting approximately seven weeks, designed based on your previous experience and competence. The introduction begins on January 18, 2027. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you if you: • Are a licensed nurse with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare. • Have good knowledge of Swedish equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale. • Have a valid category B driver's license and good driving experience. It is advantageous if you have: • Specialist training in ambulance services or other relevant specialist training. • Experience from emergency care. • Category C1 driver's license or category B driver's license issued before July 1996. You have a professional manner, a strong sense of care, and see the value in working closely with both patients and colleagues.
