Ambulance Operations is responsible for ambulance services in northwestern and southwestern Skåne and has approximately 440 employees distributed across eleven ambulance stations. We work according to common treatment guidelines, conduct continuous professional development, and have close cooperation throughout the operation to ensure high quality and equivalent care. WORK TASKS As a nurse or paramedic in ambulance services, you'll work with prehospital acute care and be responsible for assessment, treatment, and care of patients in various environments: • in the patient's home • at the scene of an accident • during transport to a healthcare facility. You always work together with a colleague and are part of a professional team consisting of paramedics, nurses, and specialist-trained nurses. The work demands high medical expertise, flexibility, and teamwork skills. Your workday can change rapidly. One moment you're managing a critical illness under time pressure, the next you're providing reassurance and building trust with a patient who needs support, calm, and compassion. Our operation runs 24 hours a day, every day of the year. We want to give you the best possible conditions to succeed in your new role. That's why we offer an individually tailored introduction of approximately seven weeks, designed based on your previous experience and expertise. The introduction starts on January 18, 2027. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you if you: • Are a licensed nurse with authorization to work in Swedish healthcare. • Have good knowledge of Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale. • Have a valid B driver's license and good driving experience. It is advantageous if you have: • Specialist training in ambulance services or other relevant specialist training. • Experience from acute care. • A C1 driver's license or B driver's license issued before July 1996.
