Operations Area Ambulance is responsible for ambulance care in northwestern and southwestern Skåne and comprises approximately 440 employees distributed across eleven ambulance stations. We work according to common treatment guidelines, conduct continuous competence development work, and have close cooperation throughout the operation to ensure high quality and equivalent care. WORK TASKS As a nurse or paramedic nurse within ambulance care, you work with prehospital emergency care and are responsible for assessment, treatment, and care of patients in different environments: • in the patient's home • at the scene of an accident • during transport to a care facility. You always work together with a colleague and are part of a professional team consisting of paramedics, nurses, and specialist-trained nurses. The work places high demands on medical competence, flexibility, and collaboration skills. The workday can change rapidly. One moment you are managing a critical illness under time pressure; the next moment you are creating security and trust for a patient who needs support, calm, and care. Our operations are conducted 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We want to give you the best possible conditions to succeed in your new role. Therefore, we offer an individually adapted introduction of approximately seven weeks, tailored to your previous experience and competence. The introduction starts on January 18, 2027. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you if you: • Are a licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. • Have good knowledge of Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale. • Have a valid B driver's license and good driving experience. It is meritorious if you have: • Specialist training in ambulance care or other relevant specialist training. • Experience from emergency care. • Driver's license C1 or B-driver's license issued before July 1996.
