We are a cheerful team consisting of approximately 90 nurses, one physician, two administrators, and three unit managers. The unit in Kristianstad where you will be placed is located in bright, fresh premises near the hospital. We also have an office centrally located in Malmö where our two other units are situated. 1177 on the Phone is a national service operated around the clock in all regions of Sweden. JOB DUTIES With us, you work in a helpful and supportive team where everyone has different backgrounds and competencies. As a nurse, you primarily work with telephone advice, make qualified medical assessments, provide self-care guidance, and refer callers to the appropriate level of care. To assist you in your work, you have a symptom-based decision support system where you follow a well-structured conversation process. In calls, as a nurse, you can also connect to video or receive images sent to you, which facilitates assessment. The position involves work during day, evening, and weekend shifts, and we work two out of every five weekends. We work with a wish schedule that runs over 15 weeks, which allows you to influence your schedule. There is an opportunity to work remotely via a home workspace once you have gained experience and can work independently. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you as a licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. You have Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale. Additionally, it is a requirement for the position that you have previous experience working as a nurse, and we would like to see that you have experience making assessments. Since much of the work is performed digitally, good computer skills are also a prerequisite for the position. It is an advantage if you are comfortable conducting conversations in English. You have commitment and the ability to motivate and inspire your colleagues and to get everyone to work toward the organization's common goals. Furthermore, you are guided by goal and results-oriented thinking in your priorities and actions, and you find it easy to structure your work.
