About the Operations
Are you a nurse looking for work that is engaging, varied, and developmental? Then the Intermediate Care Unit (IMA) at Sundsvall Hospital might be what you're looking for!
Intermediate Care (IMA) is a level of care between intensive care and regular ward care where patients with failing vital functions are monitored and treated. The unit is an integrated part of the ICU where you and an experienced ICU nursing assistant work together and are responsible for two patients in close collaboration with anesthesiologists and other ICU staff.
We are now recruiting four nurses for IMA. These are permanent positions, full-time, with start date by agreement.
Job Responsibilities
This work may suit you if you've been considering further education, as you will take on more advanced tasks and gain insight into intensive care. The role is ideal for you if you are engaged, positive, and interested in more advanced and technical healthcare. You will work with:
Care and monitoring of patients at risk of or experiencing failure in individual organ systems.
Teamwork with highly competent colleagues and more advanced tasks where you are responsible for two patients.
The work is varied and conducted in close collaboration with intensive care nurses, nursing assistants, specialist nursing assistants, physicians, and physiotherapists.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
Is a licensed/authorized nurse
Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
It is advantageous for the position if you:
Have experience in hospital care
