With digital tools and new ways of working, we can simplify daily operations at the hospital and offer modern, accessible, and efficient care of the highest quality. About Us The Children's Diabetes Clinic serves 650 children and young people ages 0 through 17 on a regular basis. The treatment goal is high quality of life, normal growth and development, and freedom from acute and long-term complications of the disease. For children and young people to manage their self-care, they need extensive education and support from us and their families. We work in a team consisting of a diabetes nurse, pediatric nurse, physician, dietitian, social worker, psychologist, play therapist, and secretary. Our diabetes team maintains contact with preschools, schools, and other institutions around the family. We educate school staff, other healthcare personnel, and students. What Can We Offer You? You'll work at a Center of Excellence! What is that? Well, it happens that we top the statistics for clinics with the most successful diabetes care in the world. We are incredibly proud of this and we want to fight to maintain our position. This means that research is a natural part of our daily work. It means we work with and are trained in the very latest technology in diabetes devices. It's good if you have an aptitude for learning new technology, but above all you need to embrace the challenge of teaching others how the technology can/should be used, which is sometimes a BIG challenge.
