About the workplace Ersta diakoni operates ten elderly care homes in Stockholm and Uppsala. For those who move in with us, we enable them to continue living according to their habits, needs, and wishes. We work with a person-centered approach and aim to create a safe and meaningful daily life with community, activities, and meals as important elements. For us, care is part of our competence. It means providing safe and professional care, but also being attentive to the person you meet and what matters to them. Sarahemmet is a care facility with 54 places in Älta in Nacka. We have four dementia-focused units and two with somatic focus. The facility is located close to nature and has a lush garden. About the role As a nurse at Johanneslund, you have a central role in nursing care and work with a person-centered approach based on the residents' individual needs. You collaborate closely with physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nursing staff using a function-preserving approach. The work includes, among other things: plan, implement, and follow up on nursing interventions assume responsibility for medical quality and contribute to good and safe care guide and supervise nursing staff collaborate with physicians and other professionals regarding the resident's care maintain contact with and support family members contribute to the development of working methods and quality in the operation. We work with a function-preserving approach focused on strengthening each person's abilities, participation, and quality of life. Documentation is done in the Epsilon Welfare system. We are looking for someone who wants to work extra hours and fill in during sick leave and other temporary needs. The work is scheduled for daytime hours, both weekdays and weekends. Who are you? We are looking for someone who is confident in your professional role and can work independently and in an organized manner. You have a warm and respectful approach and a person-centered attitude. You enjoy collaborating with different professionals and are confident in guiding and supervising nursing staff. You communicate clearly and contribute your expertise to the team. Your experience We are looking for someone who: is a licensed nurse has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing has good digital competence. We would appreciate it if you have experience working in elderly care and with people with cognitive impairment.
