We welcome you who want to be part of developing the psychiatry of the future! The Adult Psychiatry Business Area (VO) Lund has approximately 570 employees. The activities include general psychiatric inpatient care and emergency services, general psychiatric outpatient care, substance abuse and psychosis care, and a psychiatric intensive care unit. In addition, there is a resource unit and nationally specialized care for severe self-harming behavior in children and adults, gender dysphoria, and eating disorder care for adults. VO Adult Psychiatry Lund is a university healthcare unit characterized by diversity and high expertise with proximity to research and education. We work continuously to improve and develop specialist psychiatric care, and several research and development projects are ongoing within the organization. We conduct a wide range of psychiatric activities, where the combined expertise of our employees creates a strong foundation for care. We work in bright and modern facilities in Lund and cover a catchment area that extends across Lund and eight surrounding municipalities. Adult Psychiatry Clinic Addiction is an outpatient clinic whose mission is to diagnose, treat, and provide care to patients with alcohol, drug, and mixed substance abuse of such severity that specialist care is required. The clinic works closely with Adult Psychiatry Ward 8 Addiction and has an established care chain for patients seeking help for their substance abuse disorder. At the clinic, we work in an interdisciplinary team consisting of specialist physicians, nurses, social workers, resident physicians, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, peer support, and occupational therapists. WORK DUTIES We welcome a new nursing colleague who wants to be part of our clinic and together with us contribute to a safe, cohesive work group where everyone enjoys coming to work! For about a year, we have been working on implementing the FACT model as our method of work. It is important that you have a flexible approach to work and see your colleagues and the entire team as an asset, as well as collaborate well with our partner organizations based on the patient's needs and motivation. As a nurse, you are responsible for patient care and care plans together with the senior physician and other professional categories on the team, depending on the intervention. In addition to pharmacological treatment and associated blood tests, you work with motivating, preventive, and health-promoting measures. Documentation work is done in Melior and Mina Planer, while scheduling is managed in Pasis. In this role, you are responsible for planning, prioritizing, and carefully administering your work. You are expected to mentor students and share your knowledge and experience with colleagues at the clinic. With us, you are offered competence development in the field through training and lectures. You have Swedish language skills at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's language scale. It is a merit if you are further trained as a psychiatric nurse and/or have experience working in psychiatric outpatient care. Work experience and/or knowledge in addiction and FACT is seen as a merit.
