The residential home is for people with dementia or with major care needs. Our staff at the dementia units are trained in dementia care.
Solgårdsgatan Care and Residential Home is a modern residence located in the Bomhus district, approximately 6 km from central Gävle. The apartments are distributed over two floors. In the same building there is a pharmacy, health center and dental office. Near the residence there is a small grocery store, restaurants and library. At Solgårdsgatan you receive support for an independent life, preserved quality of life and security in everyday life. WORK TASKS
We are now looking for a committed nurse for Solgårdsgatan Care and Residential Home. Here you work closely with both colleagues and care recipients in an operation where quality, safety and good interaction are at the center. You will be an important part of a team that together creates the best possible care and quality of life for our elderly.
As a nurse with us, you have a central role in ensuring good and safe care. You work independently while being part of a team where collaboration is essential.
Your work tasks include:
• Responsible for health and medical care interventions for residents.
• Plan, implement and follow up care interventions.
• Collaborate with nursing assistants, occupational therapists, physical therapists and physicians.
• Document and work in management systems.
• Perform blood tests, infusions, dressing changes and palliative care.
• Guide, support and delegate work tasks to care personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a confident and committed nurse with a genuine interest in elderly care. You work with patient safety, take responsibility and thrive in a role where you can combine independence with collaboration.
• Licensed nurse.
• At least two years of experience as a nurse.
• Experience in geriatrics.
• Valid driver's license and driving experience.
• Strong ability to make independent medical assessments.
It is meritorious if you have experience with documentation systems such as Treserva, Lifecare, Pascal or NPÖ, as well as further training within the care field.
