The Lung Clinic Bronchoscopy in Lund is part of the Heart and Lung Medicine Business Area at Skåne University Hospital. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In your role as a contact nurse, you have a central and cohesive role in the patient's care journey. You work closely with the patient and next of kin, create continuity and security, and coordinate care together with the interdisciplinary team. Job responsibilities include telephone advice and patient contact, participation in new and follow-up visits, and handling of difficult conversations. You also actively participate in multidisciplinary conferences and work closely with the interdisciplinary team. Your placement will be at the Lung Clinic Bronchoscopy during daytime, Monday to Friday. With the exception that you work two shifts every fifth weekend at the lung ward, that is, alternating service. The position does not include night work, public holidays, or major holidays.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with authorization to work within Swedish health and medical care. Additionally, you have Swedish language skills at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.
Experience in oncology/cancer care and/or palliative care is meriting. Specialist training as a contact nurse and knowledge of the journal systems Melior and Pasis are also seen as an advantage.
