Job Description
Working with us means meeting seriously ill people and their loved ones in their home environment. Our patients often need palliative care and medical interventions to a considerable extent. Care is based on the cornerstones of palliative care: symptom relief, teamwork, support for loved ones, and communication/relationships. This requires specific knowledge and expertise. Our service area includes Mjölby, Boxholm, and Ödeshög municipalities.
We are now looking for a nurse for a permanent position with rotating shifts, as we operate 24/7.
About You
We are looking for you as a licensed nurse, and we hope you have previous experience and interest in home care nursing and palliative care. You must be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Since you will work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You need to have a B driving license.
Specialized home care nursing sometimes involves difficult encounters and difficult decisions in the patient's home. Therefore, we are looking for someone with personal maturity, who is self-motivated and flexible. As a person, you are positive and see possibilities instead of difficulties. Since part of the palliative care philosophy is teamwork, it is also important that you are a team player. You should have good communication with colleagues, patients, and their loved ones. You prioritize the patient's well-being and always strive to do your best.
