At Cognitive Acute Care Unit 94, we care for patients who have experienced cognitive impairment, have complex medical care needs, and often have multiple chronic conditions. Job Responsibilities
Here we provide care and treatment to patients who have experienced cognitive impairment, dementia, acute cognitive problems, and behavioral and psychological symptoms in dementia (BPSD). We collaborate with the psychiatric clinic when patients are sometimes cared for with us following a decision regarding involuntary psychiatric care. It is common for patients to also have concurrent needs for care related to various somatic disease conditions that can be both acute and chronic in nature. Working as a nurse with us is both developmental and educational!
The unit has 12 care beds. As a nurse, you are responsible for six patients during day and evening shifts and work in a team with experienced and competent colleagues. We offer you varied and stimulating work where you as a nurse have great opportunities to develop in your professional role and to contribute with your previous experience in our operations.

are a licensed nurse.
have interest in/experience working with patients with cognitive diseases.
