About the position We investigate and treat patients of all ages who have malignant and benign diseases in the nose, sinuses, mouth and throat, with a special focus on tumor surgery in the ear, nose and throat. We constantly work to develop and ensure quality care for our patients while maintaining a good work environment. As a nurse, you inform about upcoming care and treatment steps, handle patient admission before surgery, assist with outpatient operations and clinic visits, and provide support to patients and relatives during crisis reactions. You offer telephone advice and facilitate contact with other professional groups. In this role, you have overall responsibility for the patient and work in a team with other clinic nurses, contact nurses, surgical planners, doctors, and nursing assistants. Together with your colleagues, you will work in an exciting environment with varying pace and tasks. We document in the Take Care medical record system and use TeleQ for telephone advice. This position is a one-year temporary position with good opportunities for extension as the regular employee is on leave of absence for studies. We work daytime, Monday-Friday on regular weekdays (no weekends or holidays). Qualifications Requirements: - Licensed nurse with authorization to work in Swedish healthcare Meritorious: - Previous experience in ear, nose and throat as well as outpatient work - Supervisor training - Experience with tracheostomy patients/laryngectomy patients - Experience with telephone advice/TeleQ About the recruitment process Selection and interviews may take place continuously during the application period.
