The Heart Clinic is part of the business area for Cardiology and Pulmonology, which operates at both Lund and Malmö locations with both inpatient and outpatient care at both sites. In Lund, the cardiology area consists of three inpatient wards and three clinics. Together we care for and follow up all specialties within cardiac care with both breadth and specialized expertise. The Heart Clinic is an advanced specialist clinic and we provide nationally highly specialized care for heart transplantations and adults with congenital heart defects, as well as treat patients with, for example, severe heart failure, heart valve disease, and those requiring mechanical heart pumps. The clinic also has its own echocardiography laboratory, which functions as a reference center in Skåne. The clinic also includes a day care unit where we provide intravenous drug treatment and perform electrical cardioversions for subacute patients. We also have a hemodynamics lab where we perform invasive examinations and take heart biopsies. The clinic also conducts active research and development work. At our Heart Clinic, just over 30 employees work together, including nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, biomedical analysts, social worker, and psychologist, creating a stimulating work environment. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are now welcoming a new colleague to our great team at the Heart Clinic! We are looking for a nurse who wants to drive and develop new ways of working and who is interested in using innovative digital solutions as part of clinical work. At our Heart Clinic, we have individual patient visits. In your role as a nurse, you are responsible for medication compliance and adjustment of drug treatment, with support from physicians and through delegation. Through counseling and motivating conversations, you will develop an individual treatment plan together with the patient. We work in a multidisciplinary team with the patient in focus, where coordination and rounds are an important part of providing the patient with the best possible care. Your work tasks also include telephone counseling, clinic visits, intervention activities in the lab, and day care. In addition to working at the clinic, you will work at least two weekend shifts within a five-week period on our cardiac ward, which is an inpatient unit. The clinic is currently working on implementing remote monitoring using various digital solutions. Part of the job will involve testing new solutions together with the team and developing new ways of working to implement this. We value development and offer you education and skills development based on your experience. As a nurse, you will be able to participate in research work conducted in our operations. QUALIFICATIONS You who are applying are a licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare, with Swedish language skills at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe level scale. Work experience in cardiology, transplant patients, interventions, and experience with heart pumps are highly meriting. We also consider it advantageous if you have previously worked with the systems Melior 1177 and Pasis.
