We work based on person-centered care (PCV), where we continuously focus on the patient's need for care, support, and information. We have a well-developed introduction program with training days and opportunities for personal development. Currently, we work on a schedule with shifts on two of five weekends. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a nurse, you are responsible for basic and specialized nursing care. You work close to patients and are responsible for patients undergoing medical treatment with associated examinations in close collaboration with multiple professional categories such as nursing assistants, physicians, rehabilitation teams, coordinators, and contact persons with the municipality/primary care. The unit is equipped with monitoring systems for continuous recording of arrhythmia and ischemia. In your work, you deepen your knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary circulation and how it affects patients. We care for patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias, as well as patients with lung disease who may need NIV and Optiflow. The unit also has patients requiring continuous blood pressure measurement (arterial pressure measurement) and vasopressor/inotrope treatment. The care we provide is partly PM-driven, so we can initiate treatments independently directly after contact with a physician. We are now starting to open a follow-up clinic for our cardiac patients who have recently been discharged from inpatient care. Patients coming here will largely be followed up by a nurse who carries out predetermined prescriptions and/or treatments. Work at the follow-up clinic is independent, but you always have a cardiologist available to consult if needed. In Trelleborg, you have good opportunities to develop based on your own expertise. This position is a permanent employment with day and evening work, but there may also be some opportunity for night shifts. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare. Swedish language skills at minimum level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale are required. We are looking for you who want to drive the unit forward together with team leaders, colleagues, and your immediate supervisor. You adapt easily to changing circumstances and can handle and prioritize when the pace is high.
