At the cardiology and cardiac intensive care unit at Hudiksvall Hospital, registered nurses, nursing assistants, and cardiologists work together to ensure our patients receive the right care at the right time, our staff enjoys their work, and our methods are modern and efficient. The unit has 22 beds and cares for patients with various types of medical conditions and cardiac diseases. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Here you will be a key person in the patient's experience of care and an important part of the team that monitors, treats, and supports. HIA operates around the clock, which means you work unconventional hours such as day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts. If you enjoy working unconventional hours, there is the possibility to work, for example, primarily night shifts during certain periods or work weekend duty (with reduced weekly working hours). You will be part of our work group where we have an open and friendly work environment and where some have worked for a long time with extensive experience while others are newer. As a registered nurse you will, among other things, • serve as team leader for your care team and coordinate both medical and nursing care matters • care for patients with various types of medical conditions/cardiac diseases • care for patients monitored with telemetry • administer medications. After a few years with us, there is an opportunity to take advanced courses or study at master's level in cardiology. You are considerate and confident when meeting patients, relatives, and colleagues. You don't need to know everything from the start – the most important thing is that you are curious, willing to learn, and dare to ask when you don't know. We are looking for someone who sees what needs to be done and isn't afraid to take action, and because we spend quite a few hours together at work, we appreciate it if you bring both work enthusiasm and a good laugh now and then. In the role as registered nurse with us, you should be • a licensed registered nurse. For this position, it is a merit if you have previous experience in cardiac care.
