The Cardiac Care Unit/Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (HIA) at Bollnäs Hospital has twelve care beds where we treat patients with heart conditions such as angina, heart attack, heart failure, and arrhythmias, as well as post-operative care following cardiac surgery and other medical conditions. The unit collaborates with the cardiology intervention center in Gävle, the cardiac outpatient clinic, and the physiology laboratory in Bollnäs. With us, you will work in a dedicated team focused on cardiac care and the patient's wellbeing.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a nurse with us, you will work in a professional team centered on the patient to provide the best possible care. You will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, nursing assistants, and during daytime hours, physiotherapists and occupational therapists. We always prioritize the patient's wellbeing, which means collaboration with other professional categories is essential. The unit has the capability for continuous telemetry monitoring and ischemia monitoring.
As a nurse with us, you will among other things
• lead your care team and coordinate both medical and nursing matters
• review and document cardiac monitoring in consultation with physicians
• engage in dialogue with patients about secondary prevention.

QUALIFICATIONS
We believe that as a nurse with us, you have the ability to remain calm and focus on the right priorities in acute situations. Since the work involves close collaboration with other professionals, it is important that you have strong communication skills and can listen to your colleagues in a constructive manner. You are also responsive to your patients and have the ability to understand their perspective in order to provide the best possible care. You also need to be able to make quick and well-founded decisions in complex and unpredictable situations.
In your role as a nurse, you should be
• a licensed nurse.
Experience from inpatient care work, particularly in cardiac and/or acute care, is advantageous.
