JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a registered nurse in home health care, you work person-centered and in close collaboration with both internal and external partners, always with the patient's best interests in focus. The role includes medical assessments via phone, digital channels, and physical visits. You are also responsible for medication management and provide support and guidance to care staff in daily work.
Home health care in Ronneby is in the midst of transitioning to good and accessible care. This means an increasing number of patients receive advanced care at home, such as tracheostomy care, antibiotic and blood transfusions, as well as palliative care. The work is conducted in close collaboration with primary care centers, specialty care, the palliative team, mobile physician units, and ambulance services, and these collaborations are continuously developed to meet future needs. We are proud of our mobile and digital approach and continue to develop it with the patient at the center.
We offer an individually tailored introduction with mentorship support, so you can confidently develop and grow in your profession. To strengthen your competence, you will receive regular internal and external training.
The position is based on evening and night shifts, including weekend service.
Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis.
QUALIFICATIONS
You are a licensed registered nurse; we appreciate that you have professional experience.
As a person, you are secure, stable, and have good self-awareness. You have a strong ability to work independently but are also skilled at collaborating and cooperating with others. You have an easy time understanding different perspectives and situations and treat others with humility and respect. We value that you communicate clearly and work flexibly when the operation requires it. We place great importance on personal suitability.
The work involves daily documentation and communication, which requires you to express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing. You have good IT skills and an interest in new technology that can help us meet future needs.
Since operations are conducted throughout Ronneby Municipality, a B driver's license is required.
To be employed within the care and social services administration in Ronneby Municipality, an extract from the police criminal record must be presented. The form to be used is called "Work in the home with elderly and persons with disabilities". Normal processing time is approximately two weeks; remember to order the extract in good time.
Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent employment.
