As a nurse specializing in home care in the patient's ordinary home (residential) or in a special care facility (care and support home), you are responsible in your professional role for leading care work and together with other staff members making a comprehensive assessment of the patient's need for health care, rehabilitation, and support. The work is very independent, but you will be part of a team consisting of nurses, a physiotherapist, an occupational therapist, and nursing assistants. The position will include weekend shifts where you will work out in home care throughout the municipality. Your tasks will include: managing medication administering infusions operating medication pumps and other medical equipment making medical assessments based on each specific situation carrying out interventions and follow-ups providing telephone advice to care personnel As a nurse in home care, you work with many different systems and digital solutions such as digital key management, the Combine medical records system, the Lifecare planning system, the Alfa digital signature system, and DF-respons incident reporting. Your Profile You have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work in an efficient and effective manner. You are solution-oriented, have good collaboration skills, and a flexible approach to your work. As a person, you are attentive and have the ability to meet customer diversity in a professional way. The work is largely independent and requires you to be proactive, driven, and self-directed. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Home Care Services is responsible for health and care services to patients of all ages enrolled in home care.
