Description
The endoscopy operation has exciting challenges where we want to meet tomorrow's patient with modern methods and based on the individual's needs and conditions. We perform acute and planned examinations such as gastroscopies, colonoscopies, and sigmoidoscopies. We also perform screenings for early detection of colon and rectal cancer. Endoscopy is a wonderful workplace in new facilities, where work is characterized by teamwork. We are looking for you who have an interest in and preferably experience in endoscopy operations and want to work to strengthen and maintain team spirit. Endoscopy is its own small unit organized under the medical clinic, with advantages such as proximity, short decision-making paths, communication, and collaboration. We meet a wide range of patients and patient diagnoses. Working hours are daytime, Monday-Friday 40 hours/week.
Duties
Your tasks will be to assist during examinations and work closely with patients. As a nurse, you will also administer medications during procedures that require this, which includes administering sedative medications. You work with technical equipment, work that is both independent and in a team. You inform and meet the patient based on the individual's needs and conditions.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with several years of experience in the profession, preferably with experience in endoscopy operations and a desire to develop with us. You are flexible and enjoy development work. As a person, you are stable and have good communication skills. We would like to see that you have the ability to prioritize between different tasks and can take your own initiative in your work. Your perspective is characterized by care for people and you need to have a good ability to work in a team. We place great importance on personal suitability.
