At the dialysis clinic, you work with patients with kidney disease who come for dialysis treatment three to four times per week, often over many years. The work involves close contact with patients and extensive work with medical technical equipment. We believe in empowering patients by involving them in their care, and therefore work with a focus on self-care. We work in teams with nursing-responsible registered nurses to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
As an employee at the dialysis clinic, you become an important part of our nephrology unit, which is at the forefront in Sweden. Within nephrology, there are clinics for hemodialysis, kidney failure, peritoneal dialysis, nephrology clinic, and an inpatient ward for kidney patients.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Work at the dialysis clinic uniquely combines technical and nursing care with independent management of patient treatment and care. In addition to patient work, where each registered nurse has specific nursing responsibility for a number of their own patients, each employee also has specific work tasks that in one way or another aim to improve the quality of nursing care and medical care. We expect you to actively participate in operational development, take personal responsibility, and work with us toward our goals. The position involves 20 percent duty hours on-call time.
We see that cooperation between our clinics and inpatient ward is something that develops our operations and offers the opportunity to work shifts at the inpatient ward based on interest, experience, and needs.
As a registered nurse, you will work with, among other things:
• preparing, planning, and performing dialysis treatments
• monitoring patients during dialysis treatment
• medication administration
• administrative tasks
• patient care.

In your role as a registered nurse, you should:
• be a licensed registered nurse.
For this position, it is advantageous if you have experience working with dialysis.
