The hemodialysis unit in Hudiksvall has 14 treatment stations and is staffed by experienced registered nurses and a nursing assistant. We work independently and as a team with close collaboration with physicians, dietitians, social workers, and inpatient care when needed.
The number of patients with kidney failure is increasing steadily, and we now need to strengthen our team with two registered nurses for rotating positions where approximately 20 percent of work time is performed in 24-hour operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The interplay between medical technology and nursing care is our daily reality, and dialysis is a constantly evolving field that makes it an exciting area. Dialysis patients have chronic or acute severely impaired kidney function. We meet our patients several times a week and develop long-term care relationships. Our goal is to involve patients in their treatment.
As a registered nurse with us, you will work with
• hemodialysis
• anemia, calcium, and phosphate balance
• vascular accesses, that is, how we gain access to the bloodstream
• dry weight and blood pressure
• nutrition
• patient education and self-dialysis.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is flexible, understands rapid changes, and appreciates variety in daily work. It is of great importance that you have good teamwork abilities, are responsive, and can communicate well with others.
In your role as a registered nurse you should
• be a licensed registered nurse with authorization to work in Swedish healthcare
• be able to communicate fluently in Swedish both verbally and in writing.
