The Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care is now recruiting engaged nurses to join our team at the day surgery and postoperative unit at Lindesberg Hospital. We're looking to expand our staff—and we hope you'll want to be part of us!
We're looking for a nurse who is ready to gain new experience. On our unit, you'll work in an environment where we care for both inpatient and day surgery patients who are operated on and discharged the same day—which creates a varied and exciting workflow.
The patients we care for come from several different specialties: orthopedics, surgery, women's clinic, ear clinic, and public dental care. This means the work with us is both diverse and developmental, with great opportunities to broaden your expertise.
Duties
Duties include nursing and patient care, medication handling, and operation of advanced technical equipment. We offer you internal training and a learning-focused environment. Our staff has extensive experience and broad expertise.
Qualifications
Licensed nurse. Experience in acute care, pre- and postoperative care, and intermediate care is considered an advantage.

Furthermore, you should enjoy working in a team and working at a varied pace to thrive in this role. About the Operations
The Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care operates at the region's three hospitals: Örebro University Hospital, Karlskoga Hospital, and Lindesberg Hospital. It is a large department with approximately 400 employees. Our work areas include anesthesia, intensive care, operating room services (post-op and day surgery), and a neuro-intermediate unit. At Karlskoga Hospital, there is an anesthesia unit, an intensive care unit, and a postoperative unit.
