We are a well-functioning primary care clinic with permanent physicians and various specialist units. We offer good terms of employment. We are located in pleasant facilities centrally in Täby. The clinic has about 6,000 registered patients. The clinic includes physician services, nurse/district nurse services. Nurses/district nurses are responsible for specialist units in Asthma/COPD, Obesity, Diabetes, and Hypertension. We consider it important to work with health promotion and see patients of various ages. Our team consists of 3 permanent district physicians, one licensed physician (future specialist trainee), five nurses, and one nursing assistant. There is opportunity to develop together with competent colleagues. You will work both independently and as part of a team with other staff categories at the clinic. As a nurse at Vallatorpsdoktorn, your work is varied. You work daytime hours, weekends off (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) and will primarily work in the home care team. In home care, you distribute medications, administer subcutaneous injections, make medical assessments, insert catheters, provide wound care/dressings, vaccinate, perform ear cleaning, and take venous blood samples, among other duties. You will also work at the clinic with telephone advice and rotating clinic duties. A driving license (B-category) is required. Who are we looking for? We are seeking you, a registered nurse. Previous primary care experience is desirable. You want to contribute to a stable clinic with good quality.
