The General Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic in Hallsberg is responsible for assessing, investigating, and treating patients who need specialist psychiatric services for adults over 18 years of age. The catchment area includes Hallsberg, Kumla, and Askersund with a combined population of approximately 48,000 residents. The clinic has approximately 25 employees: physicians, psychologists, care assistants, occupational therapists, social workers, nurses, psychotherapists, medical administrative assistants, clinic assistant, rehabilitation coordinator, care coordinator, and unit manager. We need to strengthen our nursing staff with additional team members to meet the care needs in Sydnärke. We are organized into multiprofessional treatment teams and work evidence-based in accordance with national guidelines. The breadth of the work makes the days varied and eventful. As a new employee, you will receive a thorough introduction and be offered a mentor from your professional group. There are excellent train connections between Örebro and Hallsberg, and it takes approximately 10 minutes to walk from Hallsberg Central Station to the clinic. We are located in the same premises as primary care and public dental care in Hallsberg. Job Responsibilities The job duties consist of standard nursing work with a focus on psychiatric care. The work includes, for example, monitoring medication treatment, medication administration, telephone counseling, managing the e-service 1177.se and prescription and medication hotlines, suicide prevention measures, and supporting patients in their rehabilitation toward improved mental health and functioning. Teamwork permeates the daily work at the clinic, and you are an important collaborator with other staff at the clinic and contribute your specific expertise at treatment conferences and in collaboration on patient matters. Another important part of the work is contact and cooperation with health centers, municipalities, other healthcare providers within the catchment area, as well as the Swedish Social Insurance Agency and the Swedish Public Employment Service. You will play an important role in the daily work but are also expected to be part of the organization's development. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Experience from general psychiatry or psychiatric specialist care as well as specialist training in psychiatry are merits. As a person, you are flexible, stable, responsible, and have good collaboration skills. You also need to be flexible and have the ability to see the whole picture both in relation to patients and other employees. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. About the Organization General psychiatry outpatient care is part of the general psychiatry operational area. Our general psychiatric clinics are located in Hallsberg, Karlskoga, Lindesberg, and Örebro. Specialized clinics for, for example, electroconvulsive therapy, affective disorders, neuropsychiatric investigations, deaf psychiatry, and gender dysphoria are located in Örebro. We work with both individual and group treatment as well as with both planned and acute visits and telephone counseling. Rehabilitation is included as part of our work as well as mobile services through our specialist psychiatric nursing teams (SPOT) and patient and family education.
