A nurse at Norlandia Äldreomsorg is a valuable key person, and we are looking for someone who is skilled in their profession and enjoys meeting people in different situations. The licensed nurse's specific expertise is nursing care. This encompasses both the scientific knowledge area and patient-centered work based on a humanistic view of people. You are responsible for ensuring that our residents' healthcare needs are met.
As a nurse, you are responsible for and lead nursing care work. This means independently, in team collaboration and in partnership with the resident and their family, taking responsibility for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of care. An important task is also to guide, support and educate other care personnel and be a good role model for your colleagues.
You work with care in everything you do with great personal responsibility and have the ability to prioritize and lead others even in changed circumstances. Flexibility and collegial collaboration are of great importance in the role.
About Gutasund Elderly Care Home
Welcome to Gutasund, a modern and pleasant elderly care home in the Gottsunda district, Uppsala. The facility is located a stone's throw from Gottsunda Centrum with access to several grocery stores, cafés, restaurants, kiosk, hairdresser and library. On the building's inner courtyard there is a verdant, peaceful garden with several planting areas and seating places for our residents. Gutasund is surrounded by pleasant residential areas, calm green spaces and walking trails.
Gutasund has four floors with a total of 8 departments and 72 apartments, of which 7 departments offer care for residents with dementia and one nursing care department. Under the leadership of the facility manager, the unit manager, care staff, nurses, occupational therapist and physiotherapist work with care and support.

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse
It is advantageous if you have previous experience as a nurse in elderly care
You need to have good knowledge of healthcare regulations
You must master the Swedish language well in both speech and writing
We would like you to have knowledge of documenting based on ICF and KVÅ
We want you to have good knowledge of the national quality registers that are relevant to the operations

Scope: 100% by agreement
Start date: By agreement
We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews take place on an ongoing basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
Before a possible employment, you must be able to provide an extract from the criminal record register. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or a valid work permit.
