We are now recruiting an additional colleague to join our team at the Pediatric Emergency Department! About the Role We are seeking a nurse who enjoys challenging work where no two days are the same for our excellent pediatric emergency department. Work at the pediatric emergency has a varied pace, and children and young people ages 0-18 come here seeking care either by referral, ambulance, or through the emergency department entrance. About Us At the pediatric emergency, we work with triage, which means we meet all children and young people who seek care at the emergency department. Thereafter, patients are assigned to a clinic, and we at the pediatric emergency provide final treatment for pediatric medical patients. The Pediatric Emergency Department in Halmstad is part of the Emergency Department at Hallands sjukhus. We work in an interprofessional manner here. This means there is significant knowledge exchange between professions and you will have the opportunity to both contribute and develop. Plus, we always have plenty of laughs! Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Is a registered nurse—preferably with experience in emergency care or pediatric care, but this is not a requirement. We place great value on personal suitability. Is a flexible person who enjoys working in a team and has good ability to plan and prioritize your work in consultation with colleagues.
