Job Description Two operations – one shared goal General Psychiatry Targets adults with various psychiatric diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, or psychosis. Continuous treatment and follow-up occur over time. The work is characterized by regular patient contact, assessments, counseling, and coordination with other healthcare providers. Addiction Psychiatry Focuses on patients with substance abuse issues (alcohol, drugs, gambling). The work is often both medical and psychosocial, with interventions such as opioid substitution treatment, detoxification treatment, and long-term follow-up. Collaboration with social services and family members is central, and the goal is stability, reduced dependency, and improved quality of life. The nurse has a central and coordinating role in all operations and is responsible for: performing psychiatric assessments and providing person-centered care. planning, implementing, and following up on treatments. supporting the patient's recovery and promoting health and quality of life. providing counseling and psychoeducation to patients and family members. collaborating with other professionals and external partners. working independently with their own patients while teamwork is an important part. The work is varied, development-oriented, and offers the opportunity to follow the patient's progress over time. Work Team With us, you'll have varied work in multidisciplinary teams where we work together to make real impact in people's lives. You're responsible for your own patients and work in a team with doctors, social workers, occupational therapists, psychologists, and nursing assistants, among others. About You We're looking for someone who: • is a registered nurse. • has an interest in mental health. • enjoys teamwork but can work independently. • wants to contribute to the development of the organization. Experience in psychiatry or addiction care is beneficial but not required. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, commitment, and good conduct. Since you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
