We look forward to welcoming a new colleague – we warmly welcome your application! Your Assignment The nursing unit is seeking registered nurses for home healthcare Linden. Together, you and two colleagues are responsible for approximately 60 patients in regular and special housing, as the care and residential facility Eklunda is part of the catchment area. The position is in Bergvik, approximately one mile outside Söderhamn. Since you will be the patient-responsible nurse in both home healthcare and the care and residential facility, a flexibility supplement is paid on top of your base salary as compensation for your flexibility. The supplement is based on your competence and experience. The work involves both independent work and close team collaboration. You identify and prevent risks in care, and map out, plan, and follow up on patients' healthcare needs. The role also includes educating and mentoring care personnel in a pedagogical and professional manner. Documentation is done in the Lifecare HSL system, and the work also includes registration in several national quality registries. You collaborate continuously with other healthcare providers, both internally within the organization and externally, to ensure safe and coherent care. Description of the Workplace The nursing unit consists of registered nurses, specialist nurses, and district nurses working in care and residential facilities, short-term care, support services, and home healthcare. The unit is responsible for the municipality's healthcare services 24/7. With us, you become part of an engaged team where you work in close collaboration with nursing assistants, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and unit managers to ensure safe, secure, and person-centered care. Working hours are mainly scheduled during daytime, but evening and weekend shifts are included. Currently, you work every eighth weekend. With evening and weekend work, the assignment covers the entire municipality, which provides variety and the opportunity for broad experience. Your Competence We are looking for a registered nurse. The position requires that you have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and hold a B-category driver's license. As a person, you are confident and independent in your professional role, with genuine commitment and a positive attitude toward your work. You are flexible and have the ability to see opportunities in change. You make well-founded decisions based on available information and take responsibility for your decisions. You also have the ability to remain calm and in control in stressful situations. You work in a structured manner and have good ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work as well as meet set deadlines. At the same time, you are communicative and clear, and adapt your message to the recipient and situation so that expectations are clear for all parties involved. Since the work is conducted in teams, it is important that you have good teamwork skills and a professional, respectful approach. You are attentive, solution-focused, and actively contribute to a positive work climate. You enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience, take initiative, and see the bigger picture with the operation's best interests in focus. Professional experience in municipal healthcare is a merit, as is supervisor training, further education in elderly care, or district nursing education, but this is not a requirement.
