About the Operation
We are now seeking registered nurses for Department 90 (psychiatric intensive care). County Adult Psychiatry Falun/Säter has a regional mandate within adult psychiatry and is responsible for the care and treatment of patients in acute psychiatric conditions. The operation is divided between Falun and Säter. In Säter, there is the region's only psychiatric emergency clinic as well as departments 90 and 95. In Falun, there is a substance abuse center, a general psychiatric inpatient ward, LARO, and ECT services.
Department 90 in Säter serves patients with serious psychiatric conditions and a significant need for intensive care and observation, such as in cases of psychosis and manic episodes. Many patients receive care under the Care Act. The department has 10 beds and high staffing levels around the clock.
The position includes day and evening shifts as well as weekend duty—every other or every third weekend.
Job Responsibilities
As a registered nurse on our department, you lead and coordinate nursing care. You are responsible for rounds, conduct patient and family meetings, and collaborate with care colleagues. The role also includes participation in discharge planning, performing blood draws, and medication management. You work with care coordinators regarding outpatient treatment patients. Nurses, doctors, and nursing assistants work in close collaboration on the departments, along with treatment teams (social worker, psychologist, occupational therapist).

We are looking for you if you:
Are a licensed registered nurse (or will graduate shortly)
Have an interest in psychiatric care, especially in acute phases
Are flexible, responsible, and want to develop in your professional role
Have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team

It is advantageous if you have:
Specialist training in psychiatry
Experience in psychiatric care
