The position is performed at Preciform AB in Eskilstuna. Preciform AB is recruiting a driven and creative Quality Technician Preciform and Calix are sister companies under the same roof and both are growing companies in the automotive industry with all that entails in terms of being a supplier to major vehicle manufacturers, such as requirements to comply with quality and environmental standards such as ISO and IATF. The companies together have approximately 175 employees and operate in a shared building of approximately 12,000 square meters, divided into offices, production areas, warehouse, and tool storage. A newly acquired facility of approximately 3,000 square meters is also included today; the facilities are adjacent to each other. Responsibilities As a Quality Technician, you are responsible for: - Project work leading to Run@Rate and PPAP including IMDS via an Environmental Technician. - Assisting in organization and orderliness within Preciform projects. - Driving continuous improvement work PDSA. - Daily handling and management of deviations internal, from customer, and to supplier. - Development and management of ongoing controls and process management. - Leading FMEA work, especially PFMEA. - Participating in and leading MSA. Your immediate supervisor is the Quality & Environmental Manager at Preciform and Calix, who is one and the same person. Who are you? - You live in the local area, that is in Eskilstuna and surrounding region. - You are well versed in IATF and automotive customer requirements and additional merit is knowledge within ISO 14001 and Sustainability. - You are familiar with IATF tools such as APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP. - You have good English skills (required). - You hold a B driver's license (required). - It is advantageous if you speak German, French, or Spanish. In-depth knowledge in one or several of these areas is expected. A large part of daily tasks is concentrated in the project process and this ongoing work.
