We have both closed and open placements for closed youth care as well as treatment placements for LVU-placed young people. Job Description Are you motivated by helping young people/clients in vulnerable life situations? Do you also enjoy organizing, leading, and planning? Apply for the position of Group Leader at SiS! As a Group Leader, you contribute to a safe and secure environment for both placed children and young people/clients as well as staff members. In this role, you work actively in the operational care and treatment work on the unit. You are responsible for planning, operationally leading, and distributing daily work. You serve as a role model and ensure that work is conducted lawfully and in accordance with applicable guidelines, methods, and established goals. You keep the unit manager on your unit continuously informed about matters that may affect the work environment, care and treatment environment, or deficiencies in operations. Introduction and mentoring of new employees is also part of your work. You are part of a team with the unit manager and treatment secretary, and you will work closely together to achieve good results. In close collaboration with the staffing planner and unit manager, you lead and allocate personnel resources to ensure efficient distribution. You are responsible for safety and fire safety on the unit and ensure that safety routines are followed. Qualifications To thrive and succeed in the role of Group Leader, you are motivated by working with and helping people in vulnerable life situations. Operational work and contact with young people/clients are your main focus. We are looking for someone with personal maturity, a high level of self-control, self-awareness, and a professional approach. You should be stable and stress-resilient under demanding situations. You should have a good ability to collaborate in various teams and be able to lead without being a manager. You should possess very good administrative skills and be able to maintain a high degree of structure. In working with vulnerable and sometimes acting-out young people and the staff who work most closely with them, great emphasis is placed on your ability to be clear, pedagogical, and low-affect in your interactions. At the same time, you should be able to be flexible and solution-focused in an environment with rapid changes. You need to have a good ability to communicate and express yourself in speech and writing. You must be able to stand for our core values and treat everyone with respect, care, and clarity. You should also have: Relevant bachelor's degree (180 credits) with focus on social sciences, healthcare, or behavioral sciences, or a vocational degree (400 credits) combined with work experience in a relevant field. Several years of documented work experience from working at SiS or in other operations focused on care, treatment, and security, such as social services, healthcare and treatment, criminal justice, or other relevant operations.
