Job Description
We are seeking an interim unit manager for one of our satellite departments in Falköping. At our two departments in Falköping, we have admission and needs assessment (MBB) for girls. An MBB department is often the young people's first contact with compulsory care, and the focus is to stabilize the youth's situation and well-being. It requires a strong focus on trust-based and relationship-building work to break socially destructive behaviors such as crime or substance abuse.

As a unit manager, you have operational responsibility, financial responsibility, and personnel responsibility for the staff on your department. You lead, plan, implement, follow up, and develop work on the department toward established goals while maintaining overall treatment responsibility for the youth at your department.
You are part of the institution's management team and report directly to the institution manager. The position includes on-call management duties.
Qualifications

You should also have:
- An academic degree of at least 180 credits, preferably in social sciences, behavioral sciences, or health sciences such as social work or behavioral science, or alternatively other university education deemed equivalent
- Good communication skills and the ability to create dialogue, participation, and engagement. Ability to write and speak Swedish fluently
- Experience working with this target group or experience in social services or psychiatry
- Experience with exercising government authority
- Category B driver's license
It is also advantageous if you have:
- Documented experience working as a manager with overall responsibility for operations, finances, and personnel.
