We are now seeking an engaged and responsible swimming instructor for a 90% trial employment starting October 1 About the Position As a swimming instructor with us, you will work with teaching children of various ages and levels. You are responsible for creating a safe, positive, and developmentally supportive learning environment where students have the opportunity to develop their swimming skills. The position also includes other important tasks in the operation. In addition to swimming instruction, you will work with cash handling, customer service, and cleaning of our facilities. During public opening hours, you will also serve as a lifeguard, where you are responsible for safety in and around the pool and contribute to a safe and pleasant environment for our visitors. We are therefore seeking someone who enjoys varied work tasks and wants to be an important part of the daily operations. We are seeking you who: * Have experience working with children, preferably within education, sports, or leadership * Are a confident and skilled swimmer * Have a strong safety mindset and feel comfortable in the role of lifeguard * Are pedagogical, responsible, and have a positive demeanor * Have good collaboration skills and can work independently * Are service-oriented and enjoy meeting customers * Are thorough and take responsibility for order and well-being in the operation Meritorious * Education or certification as a swimming instructor * Lifesaving training or experience working as a lifeguard * Experience with cash handling, customer service, or work in the service industry If you lack formal training as a swimming instructor but have the right experience and motivation, we offer the opportunity for training to obtain relevant certification.
