The Challenge In this role, you will primarily work with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on Stockholm Metro's signal safety systems and its operator systems, as well as service assignments in electrical power for rail-bound traffic. You will also participate in planned projects and system launches together with our clients on new routes in the Stockholm area. Our projects include TB1, Lidingöbanan, Saltsjöbanan and equipment on vehicle types C20 and C30. Siemens signal systems have been on TB1 since 2000, at 49 stations and 41.5 km of track. We have also recently commissioned a couple of upgraded signal cabins with track management systems TCM100 and Westrace MKII in the areas of Skogskyrkogården, Gubbängen and Farsta. Our team of seven colleagues is located near our client at Siemens office at Hammarby depot. Since the position involves scheduled on-call duty and night work, we believe you live in the Stockholm region. Who are we looking for? You are a problem solver driven by delivering good service and solutions to our customers. Your surroundings perceive you as thorough, quality-conscious and responsive. You want to develop in a team with engaged and competent colleagues. At the same time, it is important that you are comfortable with significant responsibility for your tasks and have the ability to independently plan and perform your work. You have good experience using IT support in your work. Experience with signal systems is meritorious and a large part of the work is focused on it. Training in Signal Safety Systems such as Simis C, ATP LZB 730, FTGS 917, ACM200, TCM100, Westrace MKII, Simatic S7/400 and basic knowledge of Operator System VICOS for traffic control will be offered. Qualifications Technical education at least at high school level with several years of experience working with low-voltage systems Familiar with work in rail environments, subway or railway Approved basic signal training or ongoing training. For example BSG1, BSG2 Signal technical principles and basics (BSGS) Driver's license is a requirement for the position Good ability to communicate in both Swedish and English Meritorious • Professional experience in signal technical work within railways • Electrical Safety Leader; track work, work tools and track vehicles, low and extra low voltage • Health and Safety Leader (SOS Leader) • Track Supervisor (TSM) • SISÄ authorization It is meritorious, but not required, if you have competence in and experience with high-voltage systems and/or signal systems; the same applies to Simatic S5 / S7 and ZUB222C for Lidingöbanan and Saltsjöbanan.
