About Us
Ponti is a bar and restaurant that opened in early March 2025 at Nytorget in Stockholm. Our kitchen is influenced by Italian cuisine, with inspiration from California's Italian-American restaurants. Seasonal ingredients and fine craftsmanship are at the center, along with a thoughtfully curated beverage selection.
About the Position
We are looking for a dedicated and service-oriented server who wants to work extra hours with us, primarily on Fridays and Saturdays. We are open evenings only.
As a server, you are an important part of Ponti's overall experience and our face to the public. You welcome and take care of our guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure that every guest receives personalized and professional service.
For us, fine hospitality is a natural part of the restaurant experience. That's why we're looking for someone who truly sees the value in a warm welcome, personal service, and a genuine interest in food and beverages. For us, how the guest is treated is just as important as what is served.
Responsibilities
Welcome, greet, and seat guests
Take orders and serve food and beverages
Contribute to a warm and welcoming atmosphere
Ensure that the restaurant and work area are kept clean and well-organized
Communicate and collaborate closely with the kitchen to ensure smooth service
Handle cash and payments
Handle guest inquiries and any issues in a professional and solution-oriented manner
Qualifications
At least one year of experience working in restaurants and service is required
You have a genuine interest in hospitality, service, food, and beverages
You enjoy meeting people and understand the importance of personalized and welcoming service
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can stay calm when things get busy
You have strong communication skills
You are positive, responsible, and unpretentious
You enjoy working in a team and contribute to a good atmosphere among colleagues
