With us, you'll become part of a small, dedicated team where we together create a warm and personal experience for every guest. Fryksås Hotell has approximately 36 beds and a restaurant where we serve a carefully composed three-course menu each evening. Our goal is for every guest to feel seen, welcome, and almost at home – with professional hospitality from arrival to departure.
About the Position
As a server or waitress, you are an important part of the guest's overall experience. The role is varied and includes both restaurant and reception, which means you'll follow the guest throughout their stay.
Your Responsibilities
Prepare the restaurant for service.
Serve food and beverages with high quality and personal hospitality.
Present the evening's three-course menu and provide wine and beverage recommendations.
Create a personal and professional overall experience for our guests through presence, information, service, and care – and always stay one step ahead to meet their needs, both big and small.
Check-in and check-out as needed.
Work in the booking systems VisBook and Bookvisit.
Ensure that the restaurant and common areas maintain a high standard.

Our operations follow the changing seasons.
In winter, cross-country skiing attracts guests from across the country, with prepared slopes just outside the door. During summer, the hotel fills with guests coming for hiking, cycling, and nature experiences. We want every visit to be more than just an overnight stay – an experience that guests remember and happily return to.
We're Looking for You If
You have experience in serving, hotels, or restaurants.
You have a genuine interest in food, wine, and beverages. Good wine and beverage knowledge is a merit.
You are service-oriented, thorough, flexible, and want to create memorable guest experiences.
You are flexible and enjoy varying tasks.
You are self-motivated, take responsibility, and have an eye for detail.
You are a team player who likes to help where needed. With us, there is no "that's not my job" – we work together and support each other to give guests the best possible experience.
You enjoy working both weekdays and weekends, at a faster pace during our seasons.
