Server at O'Learys Kungälv
About the Position: Your primary role as a server at O'Learys Kungälv is to ensure that our guests have a fantastic experience when they visit us. This means maintaining complete focus on our guests, welcoming and attentively greeting each guest, being responsive and helpful, and professionally addressing guest requests! You will seat guests, present the menu and take orders, serve food and beverages, and provide excellent service throughout their visit.

Your Responsibilities Include:
Serve food and beverages according to service sequence
Welcome and greet guests with a smile, seat them or direct them to activities in the absence of a host
Responsible for presenting the menu and offers to guests
Responsible for providing guests with the best possible service and overall experience
Responsible for taking orders via iPad and delivering correct tickets to the kitchen
Responsible for enforcing alcohol laws and checking ID for persons under 25 years old
Collect payments from guests and provide receipts upon completion of sale
Alert management or security personnel if a guest has consumed too much alcohol or is creating an inappropriate atmosphere
Actively drive sales of add-ons and upsells such as dipping sauces, appetizers, beverages, and desserts
Inform guests about our activities and other offerings in a friendly and welcoming manner
Responsible for setting up and preparing the venue before opening/closing and carefully following service checklists and manuals
Bus tables, clear, clean, and collect dishes and trash, placing them in designated areas
Ensure service stations are well-organized and well-stocked
Support all areas of the restaurant including dishwashing, greeting, activities, kitchen, bar, and nightclub
Return iPads, cash registers, and card terminals in good condition and ensure cash registers balance
Desired Experience and Qualities:
- At least one year of work experience as a server in a restaurant/bar (Important)
- Fluent spoken and written Swedish and good English proficiency
- At least upper secondary education
- Relationship-building, stress-resilient, and enjoy working as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Problem-solver focused on creating a great guest experience
- Passion for food, beverages, sports, and people
