Service Technician / Workshop & Return Reception – SÄVE Hyrmaskiner
Would you like to work in a varied role where you combine technical skills, workshop work, and customer-facing responsibility?
We are now hiring a team member for a combined position with a focus on 50% service technician and 50% workshop/return reception.
With us, you'll have an important role in our daily operations where you work with troubleshooting, repairs, and receiving/inspecting machines that are returned from rentals.
About the Position
In this role, you will work broadly with our machines and equipment. Your responsibilities will include:
Troubleshooting, service, and minor repairs of machines and equipment
Functional inspections and preparation of equipment for rental
Reception and inspection of returned machines
Cleaning, inspection, and minor maintenance in a workshop environment
Documentation of faults, damage, and corrective actions
Collaboration with colleagues in workshop, transport, and rental departments
Assisting with transportation of smaller lifts and machines when needed
This position suits you if you enjoy practical work, have a technical interest, and are comfortable taking responsibility.
What We're Looking For
Valid driver's license and access to a car
Fluent spoken and written Swedish
Good command of English
Experience working with machines, electrical systems, or electronics
Experience with repairs, service, and troubleshooting
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Responsible, thorough, and solution-oriented
Merits
BE-class driver's license
This is highly desirable and practically a requirement, as the position may involve transportation of smaller lifts and larger machines.
Experience with or interest in lifts, construction machinery, and related product categories
Forklift certification
Lift operation certification
Fall protection training
Experience from the rental industry, workshop, or construction/civil engineering sector
