We are a company located in Ursviken outside Skellefteå and are a proud part of the XBM Group. We serve the Skellefteå area and have many customers, both large and small, in the basic materials, manufacturing, food, and engineering industries. VBM has been operating in Skellefteå since 1996 and specializes in three business areas: belt conveyor systems, process ventilation, and industrial dust collectors. These three areas are the cornerstones of our expertise and outstanding solutions.
Your Responsibilities
As a service technician at VBM, you'll work in varied roles at our customers' sites performing service, installation, and maintenance. Your tasks include new installations, service and maintenance work, troubleshooting, some welding, and measurement of dust and spillage levels. You'll primarily work with belt conveyors, industrial dust collectors, and process ventilation.
Customer contact is an important part of the role, where high customer satisfaction is essential. You are professional and solution-oriented in your interactions. You also participate in developing work methods and customer relationships in close collaboration with your colleagues.
Your Background / Your Qualities
We'd like to see experience from a similar position, for example as a service technician, industrial mechanic, maintenance technician, or in other practical and technical work. Welding skills are highly desirable, as welding is part of the work. Certifications in Hot Work and Mobile Work Platforms are also meritable and seen as additional assets.
As a person, you are curious, engaged, and want to develop with us. We value the right attitude, a genuine interest in technology, and the willingness to learn new things. A driver's license (category B) is required for this position.
