Annica Wiberg AB · Vollzeit
Centralesplanaden 20D, Örnsköldsvik, Schweden
Do you want to solve technical problems, work independently, and develop your skills in CNC machine service? At Maskincentrum, you'll have varied work with great freedom and responsibility. You'll work from home in Skellefteå and the surrounding area, traveling to our customers' sites. You'll often work independently at customer locations with access to support from experienced technicians and service managers when you need help. Your Assignment You service, maintain, and repair both older and newer CNC machine tools. The work consists primarily of planned preventive maintenance for our contract customers, but also includes emergency repairs and more complex troubleshooting. You will: Perform preventive maintenance. Troubleshoot and repair CNC-controlled machines. Handle urgent service requests. Provide technical support and be Maskincentrum's face to the customer. Create and maintain good customer relationships. Identify opportunities for upselling. The goal is for you to develop into an independent technician who drives projects forward and knows when to ask for help. What Your Workday Looks Like You'll receive your assignments from our service managers. Work takes place primarily in Skellefteå and the surrounding area, but travel and overnight stays throughout Norrland occur. You'll often work alone, but some assignments are completed with other technicians. Planning can change quickly and time pressure, deadlines, and periods with multiple pending assignments can occur. This position suits you if you appreciate freedom, customer contact, travel, and technical challenges. You thrive working independently and have primary contact with service managers and colleagues in connection with new assignments or when you need support. You'll Get Support to Grow Into the Role The introduction begins at the office and continues on assignments in the field with several experienced technicians. You'll take on your own assignments relatively quickly, with continued support from colleagues and service managers remotely. You don't need to have worked with these exact machines before. What's important is that you have a relevant technical background, practical experience, and the desire to continue learning. What You Need Experience or education in electrical, electronics, mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic work. Practical ability to work on machines. Very good Swedish in speech and writing. Good English in speech and writing, especially in writing. Basic computer skills. Class B driver's license. Ability to work from the Skellefteå area and surrounding region. What's a Plus Experience as an electrician or mechanic (but not exclusively in heavy mechanics) is particularly valued. Experience with CNC, production technology, or CNC programming is also relevant. Your background could be, for example, CNC operator with broader machine knowledge (not just tool changing), CNC programmer, automotive mechanic, or service technician for trucks or forklifts. If you've worked on machines or vehicles in your spare time, that's also a plus. To succeed in this role, you need to be independent, curious, and solution-oriented. You're humble and service-minded when meeting customers, can adapt when plans change, and accept support and feedback when needed. Employment Terms and Benefits Collective agreement through IF Metall. Individual base salary based on experience and area of responsibility. Regulated in employment contract. Entitled to a minimum of 25 days. Benefit car after six months if you wish—otherwise a service car. Wellness allowance of 3,000 kronor per year. Group health insurance (AGS) through the collective agreement. Overtime compensation according to collective agreement. Great freedom and support from a competent team. Regular staff meetings with the entire company. About Maskincentrum Maskincentrum in Örnsköldsvik was founded in 1999 and currently has 20 employees.
