Service Technician at Konecranes in Oskarshamn

About the Role
As a service technician, you'll be based in Oskarshamn and work approximately 80% of the time at one of Konecranes' larger customers. The remaining time you'll work with customers in the surrounding area, for example in Mönsterås, Nybro, and Kalmar.
You'll work with service, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of hoists, cranes, and other lifting equipment. The role is varied and combines mechanical and electrical work.
Your Responsibilities
You'll work with, among other things:
Preventive maintenance and service
Troubleshooting and repair
Mechanical work, for example brakes, ropes, lubrication, and cabling
Electrical troubleshooting and reading fault codes
Startup, fine-tuning, and delivery testing
Documentation in work order systems
Customer communication and recommendations for actions
As a service technician, you are Konecranes' face to the customer. You create confidence for the customer and contribute with technical expertise and good service.
Who Are You?
Konecranes is looking for someone with a technical upper secondary education or equivalent experience who enjoys solving practical and technical problems. You don't need to know hoists from the start—the willingness to learn is more important than knowing everything already.
Konecranes would like you to have:
Practical and mechanical experience
Basic electrical technical understanding
B-level driver's license
Good Swedish in speech and writing
Experience from industry, workshop, or service
A strong safety mindset and ability to work in a structured and independent manner
Experience with hoists, cranes, lifting equipment, electrical work, troubleshooting, or work order systems is a merit.
Personal Qualities
As a person, you are curious, humble, and responsible. You like to tinker, find solutions, and take your own initiatives. You are service-oriented and confident in customer interactions, while always putting safety first.
