Your New Workplace The Department for System Support and Welfare Technology is a shared operational support unit for the Care and Social Services Administration and the Individual and Employment Administration, consisting of approximately 25 employees working in three teams: Personnel Support Welfare Technology and Medical Technology Operational Systems Service Technicians belong to the Welfare Technology team, which consists of 12 employees distributed across the following competencies: object specialists, system administrators, and service technicians. Together, the team ensures a well-functioning technical environment for the operations. The department works at strategic, tactical, and operational levels with the administrations' welfare technology and system support. The mission includes both daily handling of cases and support requests as well as long-term development work. An important part of the operation is to contribute to the organization's digital development and strengthen digital capability in line with the politically stated ambitions for a "digital first" perspective. The work is therefore characterized by close collaboration, technical expertise, and a strong focus on developing and implementing solutions that create value for both operations and users. How You Contribute in the Role of Service Technician As a service technician, you are responsible for ensuring that welfare technology, medical equipment, and digital services function safely, accessibly, and appropriately for the operations. The work is conducted both in the facilities and in close collaboration with colleagues and operational representatives, where you contribute to both daily operations and the development of modern digital working methods. You will, among other things: Assemble, install, disassemble, and maintain welfare technology solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in existing installations. Perform service and maintenance in special housing facilities and ordinary housing, home care. Document installations, maintain records, and follow up on products and their benefits. Participate in lifecycle management and implementation of new technical solutions. Collaborate with operations, system administrators, and other specialist functions to develop and improve working methods and services. The work involves being in various operational environments where allergen-causing substances or animals may be present. Your Competence and Experience We are looking for someone who: Has a technical upper secondary education or another qualification within the field of operations that the employer deems equivalent. Has at least 3 years of professional experience within the field. Good computer skills and experience working with and understanding various system solutions. Swedish – fluent speaking and writing (C1) English – very good skills in speaking and writing (B2) Category B driving license We consider it a merit if you have current knowledge or professional experience within the care and social services administration's areas of operation. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working closely with both colleagues and operations to find solutions that create value. As a person, you are empathetic, service-oriented, and demonstrate professional conduct in contact with employees, users, and other partners.
