The elderly care services in Umeå Municipality aim to be a resource that, through proximity and collaboration, releases and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life.
Tegs care and residential facility is beautifully located by the Umeälven river, approximately 2 km from Umeå city center, with proximity to lovely green areas. The facility consists of 102 apartments distributed across 10 units and features a café, a common room for activities and entertainment, and a bright room.
We are now seeking three service resources!
Your duties
To allow our nursing staff to focus more on care, we are looking for someone interested in handling the support tasks that also exist at our care and residential facilities.
Your duties may include:
Cleaning residents' rooms and common areas such as kitchens, staff rooms, corridors, etc.
Laundry
Ordering/receiving goods and distributing them
Kitchen and food handling, meal service, table setting, and dishwashing
Social interaction
Simple maintenance tasks
About you
As a person, you have the ability to prioritize and work independently while being thorough and service-oriented in your work. You enjoy interacting with people during your workday and work well with others. The role of service resource is an active job where heavy tasks and transfers occur daily; good physical fitness is therefore required to manage the tasks. We place great importance on personal suitability.
Requirements
Experience with facilities cleaning
Good knowledge of the Swedish language to communicate with residents, relatives, and colleagues
Meritorious
Education in facilities cleaning
Pets and smoking occur at the facility, so you should not have allergies.
