Temporary staffing is part of the HR department and is responsible for meeting short-term personnel needs for all operations within Region Gävleborg.
The Logistics and Service business area has approximately 150 employees distributed across Gävle, Sandviken, Hudiksvall, Bollnäs, Söderhamn, and Ljusdal. Logistics and Service hold region-wide responsibility for internal logistics and service delivery to and within Emergency Hospitals, Local Hospitals, and Health Centers within Region Gävleborg. The assignment is to deliver services with the right content, quality, and scope.
As a temporary service worker in a healthcare environment, you will be employed through Temporary Staffing Region Gävleborg but placed with Logistics and Service.

WORK TASKS
Work as a service worker in a healthcare environment is varied, exciting, and educational. Work tasks and working hours vary depending on which unit you work at. We use shift schedules where night work may occur.
As a service worker in Supplies, you will perform work tasks including:
• Inventory, order, and stock unit supply cabinets
• Unpacking materials
• Manage supplies administration
• Arrange and adjust supply cabinets
• Order, manage, and deliver textiles
As a service worker in Mail Handling, you will perform work tasks including:
• Sorting, administering, and collecting/delivering mail and packages
• Internal and external mail transport
• Courier routes between Hudiksvall-Söderhamn-Ljusdal
As a service worker in Courier Service, you will perform work tasks including:
• Transport of patients within the hospital
• Transport of, for example; samples, medications, and blood
• Transport of sterile goods and cleaned goods
QUALIFICATIONS
In the role of service worker with us, you need to be service-oriented and have the ability to take your own initiative. You should see opportunities and put the customer in focus. You are an empathetic person with good social skills and can read situations and act accordingly. Since the work is physically demanding, it is important that you appreciate working in motion. Furthermore, you are communicative and work well together with others.
In the role of service worker, you have:
• Completed upper secondary education
• Good knowledge of Swedish language both spoken and written
• Basic computer skills
• B driver's license
• No other employment comprising more than 50 percent
We would like to see that you have:
• Forklift certification with A authorization and/or D1
• Completed ADR1.3 training
• Experience from customer service, care work, warehouse, or as a janitor
